Production Supervisor
Lauren is a production supervisor for Straight Arrow News. Though she started her career on the mic for local radio, she has found her passion behind the scenes helping stories come to life with visual elements.
After graduating from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln with a degree in Broadcast Production, she started her career at KWBE – News Channel Nebraska as an on-air talent for the radio. As the company grew, she added reporting and editing to her duties before landing behind the scenes as the head director for small-town sports and live events. To say she’s done a little of everything is a bit of an understatement, having broadcast everything from the Eclipse in 2017 to cattle sales and fiddle festivals.
Lauren is proudly the fifth generation of her family to graduate from UNL (with the first 3 being women). When she’s not at Straight Arrow News, chances are she’s still working. She owns her own dog treat business and helps her mom with wedding photography. She and her husband love to travel and experience new things.
