A first-generation college graduate, Katy holds a degree in Interpersonal Communication from Grace University. Her career path has been diverse, spanning roles in hospitality to medical staffing. Since joining SAN, she has enjoyed serving as a support figure for leadership and collaborating with the Social Media team.
Beyond the newsroom, Katy, alongside her husband, is embracing the joys and challenges of parenthood. Together, they are introducing their daughter to the joys (and heartbreaks) of being Nebraska Cornhusker fans. Katy’s love for travel persists, and she eagerly anticipates revisiting Ireland and the UK, this time sharing the experience with her daughter.
