Michael Muse Jr. is an influencer marketing strategist at Straight Arrow News. Born and raised in Washington D.C., he has a career that runs the gamut of the digital media space. Muse crafted out-of-the-box activations and online executions for brands such as Shea Moisture, Dove Men + Care, Verizon, and even the 2020 U.S. Census. Muse has always coupled his artistic and business backgrounds from his alma maters, the Duke Ellington School of Arts and Clark Atlanta University, to establish connectivity at every touchpoint of media.

Muse has a fiery passion for marketing and media, and he is fascinated by humanizing brands through influencers and initiatives. Muse comes to SAN as part of the Influencer Marketing Strategy team with a depth and breadth of knowledge stemming from advertising agency, publisher, social platform and news experience. Spanning organizations such as USA TODAY, Myspace, The Messenger and Complex Media.

Muse is a proud patron of the arts, music aficionado, pop culture nerd and one half of the Black Music Podcast “The Psyce.” Outside of work, he can be found at a concert singing along to his favorite artists like Tinashe, The Delfonics, Tyler the Creator, Dru Hill and Victoria Monet.
