Biden administration to step up fight against domestic terrorism

Attorney General Merrick Garland is set to release a plan for the Biden administration to step up the fight against domestic terrorism.

The plan is expected to include increased information sharing between law enforcement, more resources to identify threats, and new deterrents to prevent Americans from joining dangerous groups.

Earlier this year, the administration labeled white supremacist and militia groups as the top national security threats.

Earlier this month, the FBI sent out a warning to lawmakers regarding QAnon. The concern is that followers of Q could again engage in violence against political opponents out of frustration that the group’s predictions have not come true.
