More details are coming out from court filings in Dominion Voting System’s defamation lawsuit against Fox News.
The latest details — surround what Fox News hosts thought about Sidney Powell — a Trump-allied lawyer whose claims that Dominion had changed votes in the 2020 election aired on the network.
The network also had her on as a guest.
According to the filings — Tucker Carlson said “Sidney Powell is lying” about having evidence for election fraud — calling her an “unguided missile” and “dangerous as hell.”
Laura Ingraham called Powell “a complete nut.”
And in a deposition — Sean Hannity said quote “that whole narrative that Sidney was pushing, I did not believe it for one second.”
Dominion is arguing that Fox provided a platform for guests — including Powell — to make false and defamatory statements against Dominion.
In its counter-claim, Fox argued the lawsuit is an assault on the First Amendment — and that Carlson repeatedly questioned Powell’s claims in his broadcasts.
