Jet used to take latest flying object down missed on first try

Piece by piece — we’re getting more information about the recent shooting down of flying objects over the United States.
In one case — it apparently took multiple tries to shoot an object down.
We’re talking about the most recent instance — happening Sunday over Lake Huron in Michigan.
U.S. military officials told Fox News the Air Force F-16 Jet used to take down the object missed on its first attempt — before taking the object down on its second.
The jet was using Sidewinder missiles to attack the target.
It wasn’t clear where the missile that missed ultimately landed.
Each of the missiles used Sunday costs more than 400-thousand dollars.
On Monday — Defense Secretary LLoyd Austin said none of the debris from the object has been found in Lake Huron.
