TODAY, HIS WIFE — EMMA CORONEL AISPURO — PLEADED GUILTY IN FEDERAL COURT TO SEVERAL U-S CHARGES.
THEY INCLUDE CONSPIRING TO DISTRIBUTE HEROIN, COCAINE, MARIJUANA AND METHAMPHETAMINE — AS WELL AS MONEY LAUNDERING.
THE FORMER BEAUTY QUEEN IS FACING TEN YEARS TO LIFE IN A FEDERAL PRISON ACCORDING TO NEWS REPORTS.
HER SENTENCING IS IN SEPTEMBER.
Jeffrey Lichtman: “We’re hoping that she does well. We expect that she will do well. She was a very minimal participant in this as noted in the plea agreement, minimal participant. She was a very small part of this much larger thing.”
