It’s getting later in the evening more votes are coming in. It now appears as though the Republican majority in the House will be roughly 20 seats, not the kinds of numbers that many people had been projected. We still don’t know what’s going to happen in the Senate. Although Arizona is now coming in. And to the surprise of most people, the polls are wrong. And it looks like the Democrats will win both the governorship and the Senate seat in Arizona. As a result, it looks like we’re going to have probably a 50-50 Senate, just like we have now with Vice President Harris casting the tie breaking vote. Looking at what’s happening is that a lot of the candidates that President Trump’s selected and the primary voters ratified based on his recommendation, have turned out to be poor choices. More moderate candidates were likely to win and instead, in places like Arizona and New Hampshire, those candidates are going down to defeat. We’ll see how the rest of the night plays out. But right now it is not a good night for Donald Trump or the people that he endorsed. This is Larry Lindsey for straight arrow News.
